Marta Nixon Memorial Scholarship

The Marta Nixon Memorial Scholarship was established to be awarded annually to one qualified applicant from the RMFA states. The $750 Scholarship to IFI’s General Drycleaning Course will be used to cover tuition payment, transportation, room and board.The applicant must:

Be at least 19 years of age.
Have at least 8 months plant experience
Be a RMFA member of employee of a member plant
(minimum membership one year)
Complete an application and submit a letter consisting of:
a. A brief personal history
b. An outline of jobs and responsibilities in drycleaning
c. Future goals within the industry
d. Why the individual should be awarded the scholarship
Submit a a photo for publication in the RMFA Newsletter.
Submit a written after class report of experience, reactions, critiques, and career values.
