DLI is the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute, the world's leader in the fabricare industry.

RMFA is the Rocky Mountain Fabricare Association, the regional affiliate in conjunction with DLI and represents members in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.

Upon joining DLI, your membership dues include your regional affiliate, RMFA, at no extra cost!! That means two associations at work for you for the annual cost of one.

By joining DLI and RMFA, you will become a part of a network of dry cleaners, wet cleaners, launderers, apparel and textile manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, Better Business Bureaus and consumer protection agencies, and other practitioners in the fabricare industry. Product Research - DLI has several special programs to provide your business with the latest product research available. These are: Garment Analysis Service, Care Labeling Service, and DLI Quality Control Laboratory.

Publications - With your annual membership to DLI, you will receive a full year subscriptions to Fabricare Magazine and Fabricare Resources Journal. You will also be able access other DLI publications like The Complete Reference Guide, The Fair Claims Guide for Consumer Textile, The Laundry Library, DLI Products and Services Catalog. Hot Press and Heads Up for This Garment - When the news is just too hot to wait for the next issue of Fabricare, DLI sends it to your email address for free. When the DLI Analysis Department discovers a problem garment, they will give you a "Heads Up for This Garment" report so it can be caught at the counter before it can be cleaned.

Education and Training - DLI's goal is to provide its members with the latest education and training available. They offer self study courses in business, operations, and stain removal. DLI also offers hands-on training at the DLI facility for which businesses can apply for scholarships to help cover tuition. Distance Learning Courses are also available on 9 essential topics. Members can also earn Professional Certification through DLI.

Clean Show - This event happens every 2 years and is co-sponsored by DLI. It is the largest and most recognized trade show in the industry.

Website Developement - For members wanting to develop a website for their business, RMFA offers Free Domain registration or Domain Transfer plus 1 Year of Free Hosting at Directory Networks with the purchase of any Web package starting at $499. For each new site developed, Directory Networks will donate $50 to RMFA's educational fund.

eNewsletters - RMFA members receive periodic news updates via electronic communication. RMFA also maintains a Facebook page for instant news postings.

Regional Meetings and Seminars - RMFA hosts meetings and seminars throughout the year. These include but are not limited to: Finishing, Spotting, Customer Service, and Town Meetings.

Local Convention and Table Top Display - This annual event is a two-day conference on educational issues relevant to fabricare. This brings together dry cleaners in a three state region and is an excellent opportunity to network and discuss ideas and trends in the industry.

Regional Government Affairs - RMFA monitors legislative issues and state regulations for Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. When action is needed, RMFA is your collective voice at these state capitols.

MEMBERSHIP DUES?

DLI and RMFA are offering a new payment option for membership dues to make membership easier on your budget. The options are:

  • Monthly - 12 payments
  • Quarterly - 4 payments
  • Semi Annually - 2 payments
  • Annually - one payment annually

    Payment by Credit Card is available.

    There are two different types of membership categories: Principal Members and Allied Trades Member. Membership dues for Affiliate Members are broken down by number of full-time employees.
